Internal Ordering System Redesign

My role focused on creating high-fidelity mockups for several key interfaces within the new system. Some of these pages were redesigned from scratch to reflect internal requirements, while others were refined one-to-one adaptations of existing tools, restructured for clarity, brand consistency, and usability.

Constraints & Approach

• Scope driven - focused on redesigning key internal tools: promos, throttling, store settings, and more
• No direct user access - relied on stakeholder input and analysis of the existing third-party system.
• Solo execution - I owned the high-fidelity UI design for 6+ core pages during the design phase
• Delivered dev-ready high-fidelity mockups for 6 core pages

Store Hours Page

This interface allows managers to configure operating hours by day of the week. I organized the layout for quick scanning and easy editing, using consistent visual hierarchy and grouping to reduce cognitive load—especially important for fast-paced environments like food service.

Store Settings Page

A flexible panel-based layout was designed to support various settings categories. I emphasized input consistency and logical section grouping to improve scannability and reduce training time.

Upsells Page

Designed to let staff configure add-ons, the interface uses a simple table structure with call-to-action buttons for editing, activating, or reordering upsell items.

Throttling Page

This interface lets the team manage order pacing based on time slots or capacity. I designed a clear step-by-step interaction flow to make setup less error-prone, with visual feedback indicating when throttling rules are active.

Store Groupings Page

This tool allows users to create and manage store groups (e.g., by region or franchise). I used a tag-based UI with search and drag-to-reorder functionality to make group creation quick and intuitive, especially for teams managing dozens of locations.

Promo Page (Coupons & Promotions)

This page was a close adaptation of the original system. I maintained core logic and structure but refined spacing, font use, and button placement for better visual balance. I also reworded ambiguous labels and improved form consistency to help reduce the chance of misconfigurations.
